In May 2015, Anna, Irene, Kirstie, Margaret, and I (Manrico) spent 19 days on a ski traverse near Mt. Logan. Unfortunately Liz was not able to come on this trip. We had a fine group despite the gender imbalance.
Mt. Logan is in the middle of the Kluane Icefields in the Yukon Territory, Canada. These icefields (groups of interconnected glaciers) are the largest in the world after Antarctica and Greenland. The best way to get there is to drive to an airstrip at the south end of Kluane Lake. Then charter the Icefield Discovery specialized ski plane and have a great trip.
Following is a video and a slide show of our trip. You see the video in full screen view and higher resolution by pressing the buttons on the lower right. The video has no sound.
Now the photos. If you expand the photo viewer to full page the “Adventures” menu will stop working. This is because of technical issues with the website software. Pick any other menu item and go to that web page. The “Adventures” menu will then work properly.
