I, Manrico, spent the week at the Battle Abbey Lodge in the Selkirk Mountains of British Columbia in early March 2021. This is one of or the preeminent backcountry ski lodges in Canada and perhaps the world. It’s an outstanding lodge situated in outstanding terrain. We enjoyed a full week of calf-deep powder skiing and mostly excellent weather. We were ably guided by Kathy Meyer, Hamish Sanderson, and Tom Wolfe.
Big thanks to Michael and Amber for organizing the trip and inviting me to join their group of 13 people.
