In May 1985 I (Manrico) went on a spring ski camp organized by the Vancouver section of the Alpine Club of Canada. This was before I met Liz which happened to be on an ACC -Vancouver rock climbing trip.
This was a big trip with about a dozen people participating. We drove to the White Saddle Air Services base near Bluff Lake in the western Chilcotin region of British Columbia. From there we flew by helicopter to the Franklin Glacier on the west side of Mt. Waddington.
We set up a base camp and did day trips for the week or so that we were there. The primary objective was to have fun, see views, and do lots of skiing. We accomplished our objectives.
Now the photos which are scanned transparencies. If you expand the photo viewer to full page the “Adventures” menu will stop working. This is because of technical issues with the website software. Pick any other menu item and go to that web page. The “Adventures” menu will then work properly.
