In 2002 the two of us along with Irene and Tony did the Tahumming Traverse. This three week mountaineering traverse follows the ridge lines all the way around the Tahumming River valley at the head of Toba Inlet. It’s an amazing trip with ridge walking and glacier travel almost all the way around.
Even though the Tahumming River is only 160 kilometers from our home in Vancouver, the traverse is probably only done once or twice a year if that.
Following is a video and slideshow of the trip. The video is a Google Earth tour of our route.
