Denman and Hornby Islands are located just off the east coast of Vancouver Island. This slideshow is about a four day, very casual sea kayaking trip in we did there in 2014. Big thanks to Linda and Patrick who organized the trip. The four of us went with a big group of friends: Barry & Marsha, Don & Donna, Paul & Willa, and Irene.
We started on Denman Island and then crossed over to Hornby Island where we camped the first night. The next day we crossed back to Denman Island and spent two nights camped on the tiny Sandy Island off the north end of Denman Island.
After the kayaking was done the two of us invited Irene, Paul, and Willa to spend a couple of nights at our Hornby Island vacation rental house. You can see a description and photos of the house here. (Yes, that is a shameless advertisement for our vacation rental house! 🙂 )
